Basic Bow Tutorial

Materials

ღ Fabric of choice

ღ Lace trimming

ღ (Sewing Machine)
ღ Iron + Scissors

Instructions:

Sewing bows is pretty straightforward and this tutorial has miriads of variations... I have illustrated a basic, trimmed rectangle bow. An even easier way to make small bows is to use grossgrain ribbon.

Cut two identical rectangles out of your fabric of choice.

Pin lace trim on the right side of the fabric, facing in.

With the right sides of the fabric together, stich on three sides of the rectangle.

Turn inside out and press.

Top stich the entire bow or slip stich the open side closed.
