Ever since I discovered the brand Atelier Fix Design (and sister brand Duck Farm), thanks to Natsumi's blog post listing western gyaruable brands, I've been obsessed with collecting every piece I can match to my current wardrobe! ๐
Fixdesign was
founded in 2004 by Gianmarco Maggiulli and became a full-fledged fashion
house in 2006, rebranded as Atelier Fix Design. The brand is very himekaji and Liz Lisa coded to the point where I wonder if they weren't a direct inspiration. The best part? As a premium brand, the cut and fabric of the pieces is amazing. Cashmere, wool, 100% cotton... all at super cheap prices since the brand went out of fashion.
Fixdesign has many many brand collaborations with different brands/characters such as Snoopy, the Powerpuff Girls, Hello Kitty, culminating in 2009 with a Snow White and the Seven Dwarves collection (which was probably very popular since its super easy to find still!).
Around 2011-2013 their collections are more properly himekaji-able, featuring creams, browns, beiges, gingham and dainty florals as well as soft ruffles, tiers and floaty materials in spring summer and plaids, corduroy, ruffles, lace and Scandinavian knits in fall winter.
